ABOUT OUR PASTORS
Pastors Angela and Ross are a typical couple and a dynamic Christian team. But if you are expecting to meet a traditional set of pastors, allow me to inform you in advance that this will not be the case. Pastor Angela is a Prayer Warrior with a calm and classy personality. (But not when she is operating under the anointing of the Holy Spirit, No no no)! She is a woman of God, with a definite gift of prophecy and an undeniable anointing for healing. Pastor Angela truly loves people and enjoys being in the presence of God. She also received her degrees in Clinical Psychology and in Divinity before God called her into full-time ministry. On the other hand, Pastor Ross is a very dynamic, easy-going and super funny guy that is filled with the Holy Spirit. Pastor Ross is also passionate about prayer, missions and helping people in need. He has a unique gift for connecting with people from all walks of life, especially with children, and he truly enjoys being around them. After listening to these descriptions, you might think that Pastors Angela and Ross are complete opposites, but that’s not the case at all! They love the Lord and have joined their “gifts” in order to benefit God’s Kingdom. When you meet Angela and Ross for the first time, you may feel a sense of “family” and that you have arrived HOME! Pastors Angela and Ross have been married for 15 years. However, it wasn’t until the year 2014 that they answered God’s calling to go into the ministry full-time. Even though they both came from a Christian background; both of their parents were pastors. They were refusing to walk in their full calling. They always remembered how God spoke to them through many ways and people regarding the opening of a physical place to spread the Gospel. But what they would constantly say is that they didn’t want to open up a “typical” or “traditional” church, because there are so many of them established already. But what was in their hearts was to open a place where people from all backgrounds and different walks of life could come to pray, to be empowered by the Word of God. To feel a sense of belonging in a family community and to experience the supernatural powers of God in action! And under this vision, Pastors Angela and Ross have created the Global Miracle Center, Inc., Christian Church. A place to Belong, to Grow and to Serve the Lord! We can’t wait to see you all in our Center! With love, Pastor Angela and Ross Strong
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God; inspired, infallible and unchangeable from Genesis to Revelation (2 Timothy 3:16). One God in three people We believe in God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, and that the three are one. (1 John 5:7)
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Only Son of God, born of a virgin woman; who was crucified, died and rose again on the third day; He ascended to the heavens and now sits at the right hand of the Father (Isaiah 7:14, Luke 1:30-35).
We believe that salvation is gained through repentance and the confession of sins; it is given by divine grace (not by works) and is received by faith in Jesus Christ. He is the only mediator between God and men (Acts 4:12).
We believe in sanctification as a work done instantaneously in the spirit, but one which must be developed progressively in the soul, and in the body of a child of God (Hebrews 12:14, Romans 6:19-22).
We believe in the baptism of the Body of Christ, by which the person accepts Jesus, is born again, and goes on to be part of the Body of Christ and His eternal life.
We believe that the laying of hands is one of the ways to transfer blessings, healing and the power of God from one person to another (Acts 8:15-20, 1 Timothy 4:14, 2 Timothy 1:6).
We believe that the apostle and the prophet are governing ministries that establish the foundation and the biblical doctrine of the church (Ephesians 3:5).
We believe in the power of the Kingdom to heal the sick, cast out demons, and make miracles, signs and wonders (Matthew 12:28).
We believe without faith it is impossible to live a life that is pleasing to God, and that through it we inherit His promises (Hebrews 11:6).
We believe in expanding the Kingdom at a local, national and international level, through every means available to us (Matthew 24:14).
